Scrum Poker in Google Meet

Estimay is free scrum poker (planning poker) that runs inside Google Meet as an add-on. Start it from Activities in your call, and everyone estimates stories together on the main stage, with no account to create.

How it works

  1. Add Estimay to Google Meet. Install it from the Google Workspace Marketplace. You only do this once. In a work or school account, your admin may have to allow it first.
  2. Start it for everyone. In a call, open Activities, pick Estimay and press Start for everyone. The room opens on the main stage, and you name it and host it.
  3. Everyone else joins the same room. Meet invites everyone in the call to the activity. They join it, type the name the others will see, and land at the same table.

What you get

  • The whole room, on the call's main stage. Hidden votes until the reveal, live or async rooms, a discussion timer, custom decks, extra questions and stories split by discipline: the same room as in a browser.
  • One room per meeting. Whoever starts Estimay creates the room, and everyone who joins the activity in that meeting lands in it, without a link to pass around.
  • Meet and browser together. Meet add-ons run in Meet on a computer. The Invite button's link and QR code bring in anyone else, on a phone or outside the call, to vote in the same room.
  • No sign-up. Nobody signs in: you type a name, and your browser remembers it for the next time you open Estimay in Meet. You can change it in Settings.
  • Free to use. Unlimited players, rooms and stories, and every feature available today, with no card needed.

Privacy

The add-on doesn't sign you in and receives nothing from your Google account: no email address, no contacts, no calendar. To bring everyone in a meeting to the same room, your browser sends Estimay a one-way hash of the meeting's ID, never the ID itself, its code or who is in it. Ending a session deletes the room at once. Read more in our privacy policy.

If something looks off, the same room always works in a browser, and we'd like to hear about it.
